After we installed our new T5 palm, we started to get
this error after running getdata...
any ideas how to correct this?
Thanks!,

I have the same problem on my Treo 650... it's killing me.

I have a weird work around. Downstairs I have an older Palm
version. I use that computer to download the Showtime data.
Then transfer it upstairs to the T5's computer. I have to
delete Showtimes. Then I install Showtimes and then sync to
get the data. It is a pain. but I love the program (fortunately,
with the USB2 it doesn't take all that long).
I would love a fix... I'm just not skilled in it.
Thanks!

I made something simpler. Even though ShowTimes reports a
copy error, the PDBs with the necessary data are created
inside the same folder as getdata.exe, they just don't get
copied o th the insallation folder.
After figuring this out I just wrote a very small batch file I run
say 15 minutes after ShowTimes is scheduled to run to make
sure it's done by then (or just run it manually) and all the files
get copied to the install directory in your Palm folder to be
hotsynced next time. It works perfectly.
Create a new text file and type this in it:
copy *.pdb "C:\Program Files\Palm\username\Install\"
The quotes need to be in there for it to work. Replace
username with your user folder name and if necessary change
Palm for PalmOne. Save this in the same folder as getdata.exe
(where the PDBs are created) and name it "CopyPDBs.bat".
RUn this after running ShowTImes and you should be good to
go! Works for me!

I tried what you posted, and it makes complete sense...
however, for wharever reason, it doesn't work with this set-
up. Perhaps it's because we're mixing the T5 with the Vx... I
don't know... thanks though... maybe we'll purchase another
T5 (for me) and the solution will be there. (Wish me luck! ;-)
