I am running WinXP. I upgraded to Showtimes .07 at
http://www.blackgate.net/downloads/showtimes-0.7-
win.tar.gz. That corrected the uninitialized value errors
(which began for me on March 31) but did not correct the
GETDATA.PL error referencing empty databases.
I look forward to reading of any progress anyone else makes
with this.

Thanks for the info about the updated version. Though I still

I'd like to redirect this disucssion to the other thread on the
same topic:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?
func=detail&aid=927590&group_id=2989&atid=102989
Aparently the Yahoo! page layout has changed, causing the
problems.

I have new code that handles the Yahoo format change. I'm
waiting to hear back from the project administrators regarding
how I can submit my changes. Until I hear from them I'll send
the perl scripts I changed directly to anyone who requests
them.

is there any way to change the cfg file so that instead of
putting the date in manually (ie 20040405) you can have it
so the program does it automatically (ie yyyymmdd) for today
and the next few days?
Thanks Phoenix

Yep. Exactly the same message, same operating system. Also
been using it for >1yr.
Love this program - look forward to fix.

Me too. This started happening approximately the 1st of April
2004. I think Yahoo must have changed their format on the
movies page

Me, too. I think Yahoo changed their website. Will there be
an update to accommodate the change?

I have been unable to find a correction for this problem in a
week. I suggest using my.yahoo.com movies through
avantgo.com (free) or vindigo.com. Vindigo has a 30-day
free trial of v. 2.0 and then VindigoLite is available free-of-
charge thereafter. It will no longer have reviews, but will
have showtimes.
Good luck,
