I had trouble setting up OWA with Evolution 2.8 using https. I then found out about "stunnel" that could transport SSL without the app knowing about it, and thought that could help. I can't seem to completely uninstall Evolution, and now I can't create a new account that accepts the OWA URL field when I choose exchange for the protocol.
I tried uninstalling, and it seems to remember my account info, even after deleting .evolution and .gnome* directories.
I need help in making visibile again the field that had the OWA URL, or a way to completely uninstall wiping out ALL info. There is not data or mail yet, so I have nothing to save.
Thanks,
Jeff

For your problem, try cclear www.ccleaner.com (registry and directories cleaning)

Thank you - ccleaner worked great to eliminate the "remembered" reference.
But now I'm back where I started. Still can't get OWA to work.
I set up a secure tunnel using stunnel from localhost:8443 -> realhost:443, and entered the OWA as http://localhost:8443/... but still did not authenticate.
