Certain files seem to be exempt from search filters; specifically, particular files consistently appear despite violating a filter (e.g. an mpg in an image search with "bogus files" filter ticked). The same files will persist in being shown in the search results after other filters begin to match it -- particularly annoying when that filter is "files you have already" and you go to re-add sources for downloads, only to get the annoying prompt saying you already have one of the files.
Addendum: There is no obvious rhyme or reason. One search I run periodically frequently turns up a specific mpg result that nothing will hide and that is off-topic, though. So it seems to be something in the files themselves, or the file name, that makes Shareaza's result filtering system ignore a file and pass it through. Most likely it's files with some unusual character in the name, or something.
