[Sgems-users] Indicator coding for categorical variable transformation

Dear All,

I have loaded in SGEMS a series of lithofacies realizations which I built with plurigaussian approach with another software, each realization being a volume of lithofacies coded from 11 to 19 (9 different lithofacies).

I want to use the simulation post-processing facilities of SGEMS. It does not seem to be fit for categorical variable? Is that correct?
Consequently, I decided to transform each lithofacies realization into a series of 9 indicator volumes (since I have 9 categories) to run the post-processing on the indicator volumes, instead running it directly on the lithofacies volumes.

But I cannot manage with the menu "properties/Create Indicator/user defined"  to compute the indicator associated to the  values of the categorical variable. When I enter the values "12 13 14..." there is an error message telling the thresholds are not appropriate.

Could you help me? Is there another way to post-process realizations of a categorical variable, than creating associated indicators?
