Uncompress files being compressed before compression
A free file archiver for extremely high compression

Generally, if compressed files are compressed together,
the resulting file is larger than if the original files
had been uncompressed. It would be a unique feature if
7-zip could uncompress files that are requested for
compression (ideally to infinite depth), save the
compression setting to achieve the same original file,
and compress the uncompressed files to result in a
smaller file. When uncompressed, the files are
uncompressed and recompressed under the appropriate
settings that were stored.

yuo cannot uncompress and theb save the compression info,
since 7zip doens now how other programs do there compression.
and without that info you would and up with a lossy archieve
encoder as the after file is not the exact of the before file.
