While comparing the contents of a folder and its archive in a file manager, I needed to delete some files from the archive. The archive is 15 GB. Deleting files one by one wastes a lot of time, as the archive must be completely unpacked and repacked each time. Is it possible to sequentially mark multiple files in an open archive in the file manager and then delete them during a single unpacking operation?
P.S. The file manager window doesn't minimize while the archive is unpacking.

You can see full list of files in archive with menu command "View / Flat View"
Then you can select any of them and delete.

That's not it. In this case, deleting each file will unpack and compress the archive. What if there are 20 files—unpack, delete, and repack them 20 times? It would be convenient to select several files with different paths in the file manager (for example, by creating a temporary file list) so you can unpack, delete, and repack them all in one go.
