A coworker alerted me to a problem with later (post 4.32, possibly earlier) versions of 7-Zip. While previously, the right-click contextual menu in Windows showed a separate menu called 7-Zip, with suboptions allowing extraction, compression etc, the options are now located in the "root" of the context menu - and do not work. Clicking on them does nothing. We have reproduced this error on several PCs, running WXP Pro SP2 and W2K Pro SP4. Reverting to 4.26 Beta fixes the problem.
If anyone has any good ideas on why this happens or how to fix it, please let me and the forum know. It's currently preventing us from upgrading our workplace.
