To read chm,you need to download some update from MS, hhupd.exe (version 1.40) (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=14498)and make sure you have Internet Explorer 5+ installed.

I know I can install an update for chm support. But installing IE is excactly the reason why I hadn't done it already.
I think that at least the parameters for the command line version should be described in a plain text file.
Actually I made this program run on my system, but there are still switches like -m (compression method) or -i for (include filenames), that I can't use, because I don't know exactly how.

Does a help file exist in an other format than in .chm ? I still use Windows 95 which can't open this format.

just give your email i'd email html files (unpacked chm..) and view it with netscape/mozilla/opera
