How might I get 7Zip to work with NSIS?

  You can use sfx for installers.
  BTW, in future NSIS will use compression algorithm from 7-zip.

    Yes, I work with NSIS developers in that direction.
    If everything will be OK, it will use LZMA (without BCJ filters).
