Please help. I recently compressed files due to a trojan compromising my system. I compressed files using 7zip as I learned that it is the best way to rescue files on virus affected drives.

For added security, I added passwords on each file compression. I noted down every single password for every batch of files that I compressed, to ensure access for myself.

Now, I tested to see if the password protection helps. However, when I try to input the password, 7zip gives me an error of DATA ERROR: WRONG PASSWORD? : <zip file="" name="">.7z</zip>

THE QUESTION: IS THERE A WAY TO ACCESS THOSE FILES WHEN 7zip WONT EVEN ACCEPT MY INPUT?

Thank you very much.
