Hi guys, I associated pretty much every type of compression file to 7-Zip, but I seem to be having trouble opening any and all zip files. When I double click on a zip file in Windows Explorer, the 7-Zip File Manager opens up, but the zip file is not opened, instead the File Manager opens up showing the directory listing of the directory in which the zip file is located. I double click on the zip file in the 7-Zip File Manager, but all it does is open up another 7-Zip File Manager with the same directory listing again. Why can't I open up a zip file and view it's contents?
BTW, I'm running v4.27 Beta on Windows 2000 Pro.

I went back to v4.23, and it works fine. So the problem seems to be with 4.27.
I am having the same issue on Windows 2000Pro (fully updated). I have reverted back to 4.24 and that has NOT resolved the problem. Something is amiss.
Mine won't work either. Every time I've sent files using 7zip, the recipient cannot open them.
