I find myself doing the same thing over & over & thought maybe there was a shorter way to do it, but I have not been able to find one. ePubs are simply a zip file with the right structure. I often modify ePub file by extracting them, resizing images, then in the root folder of the previously extracted {7-Zip} > {Add to archive...} so long as it is zip format you just change the extension to (.epub) & you have an ePub file. I generally use the settings
Archive Format: {Zip}
Compression Level: {Fastest}
Compression Method: Deflate (May be necessary)
Dictionary size: {32KB}
Word Size: {32}
Update Method: {Add & replace files}
Path mode: {Relative pathnames}
I know some epubs use higher compression, but the difference is minimal & some readers may struggle with higher compressed ones.
Now for my Question
Is there a way to add a {Add to "Folder Name.epub"} option to the context menu in windows? Even if it's just copying or even replacing the {Add to "Folder Name.zip"} that's fine. I just haven't been able to figure it out
