Hello,
I have noticed that I can benchmark with upto 8 threads with my processor but I can only use 2/8 when compressing

7-Zip version and type (32-bit / 64-bit) : 7.20 64bit (had 32 bit too)
Windows version and type (32-bit / 64-bit) : Win7 64 bit
CPU type : Core i7
RAM size : 6 GB

Use LZMA2 method.

Sorry for this post, I did not know about the limitation. Did you see my suggestion in bug post ID: 3494857?

I will try to find some resources on the different methods and their uses, and possibly compatibility issues with other programs.
