SourceForge was once a great place for open source software but that's not the case anymore.[1] SF has served malware-ridden installers since last year[2] and now they've even seized control of some SF accounts to offer more malware installers.[3]
Hosting 7-Zip on a service that might decide to offer malware instead of a clean installer is a really bad idea. I understand that migrating a project can be a lot of work but I feel this is something that should be done sooner rather than later.
I have to agree, I think GitHub would be a better option. It has a replacement for everything except the forums, but you could host that on a username.github.io website if you wanted. All of that is free, and I'm sure 7-Zip would be welcomed with open arms.

Dear @ipavlov: I would like an official organization and repository by product too, to have a better development and contributions.
I think it is very important to do it quickly, we are in 2021, soon in 2022.
