I am trying to understand why the verison 9.20 from (2010-11-18) is the latest version listed out of beta yet it seems in the last 5 years there have been dozens of beta version created and none of them make it out of beta? Now there are two 'current' versions in Beta, version 9.38 & 15.07, listed here (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html) yet only one 'current' version in beta, version 9.38, listed here (http://www.7-zip.org/). Are the beta's ever going to make it out of beta or is verison 9.20 the last final version ever?

I incease version number for each new version of 7-Zip. If I think that it's not ready for "release" status by some reason, I use "beta" or "alpha" status for that version. So there is only one status of three: alpha, beta or release for each version number.
There is big probability that next "release" will be in 2015-October.
