When Archive creation has finished, I would like to see the folder in which the archive wass created 'Autorefresh'.
That way the statusbar will display the size of the archive right away.
For some 7zip users who like to read, a remark in the manual will suffice that we all can hit the F5 key, which will work, but I am part of the lazy crowd.
WinRAR and WinAce have it as well.

I would like a switch to map a compressiom method with its parameters to a given file type: this would nicely cooperate with the feature
>>>Creation of compression/decompression profiles
proposed in the previous message
I also suggest that if the program is not told otherwise it may check the current directory for a .7p file (or something) that contains the profile to be used and if it is not found default to a system--wide setting, so one can set a different (optimized) profile for each project directory and the profile is kept with the directory itself.

Do you plan support ISO format?
а то приходится держать другие архиваторы ради этого.

The last three options are already available in popular archiving.
It is good to implement proven options.
The Archivers with the best options are the most popular.

I like the 'process queuing' idea. So when we choose to create archives or extract a lot of archives if there is already one being done it will add job to a queue :-)
I also would like to see a decent 'repair archive' feature.
I am glad that 'Multi-Part' archives is being worked on.

i just want drag and drop and good folder support (like winrar)
I second the request for drag and drop. AT LEAST drag out of 7zip onto explorer if nothing else.

use sha512 hash to encrypt
Add option to 'each selected items to separate archive' ... just like winrar ;)
please add a "convert-archive" option,
with a shortkey, similar to the one used by winrar.
this will allow easy switching from other compressions
to 7zip.
thanks in advace!
- wait for other 7zip processes to end, or a queue, to avoid multiple prozesses slow down the machine
-someone to do a lha/lzh plugin for 7-zip
-process queueing would be cool
- extract uha-archives and ace-archives with plugins.
- 'flat view' option, all items inside an archive shown with path colomn.
I would also like to see a

Lots of people using Winzip 9/8/7 are going to upgrade to WinZip 10 with resignation if this option is not possible in 7-zip.

Once an Archive is opened in 7Zip, when no files
are selected, clicking extract-button should extract all content.
Keyboard hotkeys for much used commands.

"extract to /*"
Possibly shutdown on finish
Drag and drop support. This is currently the only thing preventing me from using 7-Zip is my primary archiving program.
