My split file works if i select a file... however when
compressing files, I could not find the option to set the
'splits'. It's hard to tar-ball a folder with over 4Gigs of
data if you have to tar-ball it onto a file system that
supports files over 4Gigs (FAT32 has 4Gig max file size :/).
I want to tar-ball my music without tar-balling groups of
sub-folders in my music folder. The 'add-to archive' window
should have the option to split the archive up at X Bytes.
Otherwise the compress will fail (complain about running out
of space on the hard-drive, but the real problem is that the
filesystem doesn't support files of that size!).
