No

I have a zip archive with multiple PDF files.
Adobe Reader X ist my default PDF viewer.
I have Adobe Reader open - showing no files.
If I double-click a PDF inside the archive it doesn't open in the Adobe Reader.
I get instead a "File not found error".

    Hi Susanne,

I tried out your scenario and the issue is reproducible. Hopefully the author looks at this issue soon.

But in the meantime the possible workarounds are:
    1. Close Adobe Reader before you double click the pdf inside the archive.
    2. Instead of double clicking on the pdf, do a right click and select "Öpen Outside" (Shortcut is Shift + Enter)

I get this error with neither Adobe 9.1 nor Sumatra as my default reader.
What version of 7-zip are you doing this from?
And have you tried a different pdf reader?

    I don't get the error.

I can't seem to find how to edit/remove my previous comment.

Is this issue still present? Problem is, if Adobe Reader is already open. I could not change the PDf reader.

I can confirm, the problem still exists. Very annoying bug.
    Win7, 7-zip 15.09 beta [64bit], Adobe Acrobat XI.
Important: Zip archive, Adobe Acrobat must stay opened, the error message to appear. Happens not every time (every second or third time, file opened).
