But does it matter? If I look >Tools&Opts/Options/Fonts, I see "Load font' set, and >"Terminus Bold 10x21" for Primary, and "Terminus Medium" for >Secondary font. > If you load your own font then the one loaded by the OS is not important.= And from what you say I think you are running on X not in a console, in=20 this case the OS settings aren=B4t relevant. I configured the following: 1) Fonts: a) Load primary checked. b) Font name Terminus Bold c) Size 10x20 2) Encodings: All forced to "ISO Latin 2 (Linux)" And I got some nice o and u with double accute accent for F5 and FB >>2) Which code page is selected in the >> =20 >> >"Tool&Ops|Options|Encodings ..." menu? > >Erm, I tried this menu before but now I have tried again >with all the combinations and get some improvements. One more question: >Where is Setedit to save this option? > It depends on how did you install/configure the editor. Take a look at Tool&Ops|Options|Editor General ... One of the checkboxes says: "Don=B4t create desktop files" 1) If it isn=B4t checked: the editor will create a desktop file in each=20 directory you use to start the editor. So this setting will be stored in = a .dst file in the current working directory. 2) It it is checked: only one central desktop file is used. The settings = will be stored in the central desktop file. The central desktop file can be found in the user=B4s home (~/ or ~/.sete= dit). The current CVS documentation have a chapter explaining more about=20 configuration files and its location. If you use a project the initial desktop settings will be taked from a=20 tcedit.dst file and then stored in one named just like the project with=20 =2Edst extension. >And why Setedit cannot >remember that latin-2 is my default encoding?
