Onother great thing would be the chance to change the
ini file.
I have 3 diff. back.jpg in difrent formats. For each I
created a own ini file, wich I have to change when I
change the back.jpg

Maybe there could be some lots for diffrent pics with the
possibilty to change them if it could save diffrent ini files?

sorry for my english but I think u know what i mean...:-))

    we could create a "back" directory where you store your images. another
    tabsheet in the settings dialog would then list all the images in that
    directory with a preview. you'd pick which image you'd like to be your
    current background and update away... would be easier than messing
    around with tons of ini files.

    Well. I got 3 pics in 3 sizes with 3 diffrent text positions.
    I dream of a randomizing function which support several pics
    like that. Maybe it is possible to describe several pics in the
    ini and randomize the pics ..

    but your solution sounds good. :-))

    U can try to load an custom image by using an image.ini like:
    back1.cfg, back2.cfg, someback.cfg, coolback.cfg
    in this files there infos like in the txt file that come with the
    backgrounds. And when u change some vars it can saver in
    this file, that u can load it again faster, without one more file...

    [IMAGE]
    file=my_image.jpg

    [Online]
    Text1=Online
    size1=7
    x1=160
    y1=7
    Text2=%ip% %name%
    size2=7
    x2=160
    y2=17
    Text3=%time%
    size3=7
    x3=160
    y3=27

    I think dragod's solution is the best. Split off the design information and
    then save it in a separate ini file, perhaps with the same filename as the
    background image.
    But if the design information is split off, I would personally find it easier
    to copy a new image and its design.ini than to fiddle around in the prefs.
