Hello. I'm using the latest version of your plugin, but
I need it to do tls to port 993, instead of connecting
in clear text to port 143.

The makefile suggests that tls support is there, but I
don't know how to enable it. I need to do so, as local
policy is to only have secure connections to the server.

Can you tell me how to enable tls to port 993?

You have a great plugin here. Thanks very much for your
efforts! :)

Doing STARTTLS to port 143, instead of TLS to port 993,
would also be a working scenario for me. The main thing is
that the binary has to connect securely.

Hello, sorry for the lack of support in this forum. It's always best to use the squirrelmail-plugins mailing list for support requests (although we will continue to watch for bug reports on this tracker).

As for your specific issue, it should be solved in the newest version of this plugin (2.0), which is in beta testing at the time of this writing and available for download at the project web site. Specifically, you'll need to build the Server Settings Backend plugin's SUID backend with c-client support and the right mailbox flags. Please refer to its documentation for more details.

    Thank you.
