I get the same error. I cannot enable automatic update
checking because somehow this site is checked every time
(presumably because I have ServerEclipse installed?), and
automatic update checking fails and errors out because of the
malformed xml error mentioned above. Is there any way to
turn off update checking for ServerEclipse? I've already
remove the site from the list, but it still checks it every time
