Hallo, could you open a terminal, start "python", and run the following commands: import bluetooth bluetooth.discover_devices(lookup_names = True) Can you see your device here? For example: lukas@erde ~ $ python Python 2.7 (r27:82500, Sep 16 2010, 18:02:00) [GCC 4.5.1 20100907 (Red Hat 4.5.1-3)] on linux2 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> import bluetooth >>> bluetooth.discover_devices(lookup_names = True) [('90:21:55:XX:XX:XX', 'Desire HD')] >>> Lukas Am Donnerstag 24 Februar 2011, 19:42:10 schrieb Martin: > Hi, > > I have the same problem with my Nokia N8: It is not detected when scanning > for devices with Series60-remote, other phones are detected and I can > connect and brows the phone from the kde bluetooth manager.
