These changes are probably fine, if they are made optional
somehow. Especially on a laptop with touchpad. I'm happy when I manage
to get the mousepointer to the general area of where the note is.
Having to find the correct part of the note then, instead of just
holding ctrl, is not really an option to me (speaking from experience
with other applications).
