I have the same problem, both on ubuntu intrepid and fedora 10
with planetccrma... tried ubuntustudio and same story
I even tried compiling from source without success ...

With jack transport *disabled* in seq24 everything works fine, when *enabled*
(doesn't matter wheter master or not) jack transport (and everything connected)
starts but seq24 stays "still"

playing notes on the editor directly works, btw
