Maybe you could just move to some easy to use music oriented linux like Ubuntu Studio? :) The latest version of FST (http://www.joebutton.co.uk/fst/) combined with a recent Wine (www.winehq.org) has very good VSTi support already, so you'd also have a nice set of instruments available. - Jaakko |
