Hi, I would like to congratulate all the team of seq24 for the new release. I though it was a dead project since 2006. But thanks to you the project go on. It's really a great news. I would like to ask you some features. I saw few features I would like in the "blueprint". One of the most important for me would be the possibility to run Seq24 as a Midi Slave. Perhaps you saw faw messages recently on the Linux Audio User from me, searching desperately ONE software on linux that can be controlled as a slave.... It's very very hard. And my favourite sequencer to play live is ... seq24 :). Rosegarden can't, Ardour can't... I didn't try muse because it doesn't compile on my system... :p I tryed also several trackers, but I am not confortable with this kind of sequencers. In fact I found kmiditracker, which has the possibility to be ran as a slave. But the tempo is very unstable and changes every time. So it's very unusable for me. But perhaps you could look at the code to see what the have done... Here is the soft : http://www.sourcefiles.org/Multimedia/MIDI/Sequencers/kmiditracker-0.5.13.tar.bz2 You can look at the tracker.cpp file. I saw some codes realated to midi sync. An other small feature, would be the possibility to zoom in vertically... But the midi sync is the most important. Thank you for keeping this project alive.
