That sounds really weird. Hydrogen should just play the midi it receives
(from seq24 or other midi sources) regardless of the state of the transport.
I've never had to hit "play" in hydrogen to be able to use it as an
instrument with seq24. Maybe you should ask from the Hydrogen forums since
it sounds like the problem is not in the seq24 end.
