I'd appreciate some help. I remember reading about this problem before but didn't figure out what was actually wrong. I can just start by asking a few questions: - Is the "dump midi to bus" option enabled for the pattern? - this maybe a stupid question, but it would effectively stop you from getting any midi output :) - Are you using Song or Live mode? This can be changed from the options. I remember having some confusion in the beginning when I had the song mode enabled since if I recall corretly it requires you to actually have something in the song/composition. Please try the Live mode for just playing single (or multiple) patterns if you haven't done it already :) - Have you tested the "manual alsa ports" option? This would of course also require you to manually route the alsa midi connections with qjackctl. I don't know if it helps, but at least you have better control over what's happening. It's also the only way to get LASH play nicely with seq24. - What do you mean with "get stuck"? Do you mean the "animation" in the upper right corner of the main window doesn't start up? BR, Jaakko |
