[seq24-users] Step edit in Seq24

Hi!

I've been under the impression that Seq24 doesn't have a step edit
option, meaning that notes either have to be drawn with mouse while
pattern is not looping or entered via midi controller (keyboard) when
the pattern is looping and recording is turned on. I just read Dave
Phillips' seq24 intro (http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/8304) and
it mentions step-editing capabilities. Does anyone know what he refers
to? Rob?

The step-edit functionality I'm looking for is described in this
blueprint which is of course not yet implemented:
