-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've been using seq24 for a few weeks now, and I like it. I'll be using it for a liveset on Saturday. A few questions still remain after using it and reading docs, searching on the internets, etc: 1) How can I get seq24 to save and restore the BPM setting for a song? 2) Several of what look like editable GTK combo-boxes aren't editable, like # of measures, zoom ratio, and tempo! The keyboard commands work to increment/decrement, as do the up-down arrows and/or pop-up menus, but I just want to type a number into the box, it's faster, and the box is editable so it looks like it should be able to do that. 3) Song mode doesn't appear to work. No matter what I do in the song view, it doesn't appear to have any effect on which loops are enabled or not. Not a big deal; I may just blow off song mode and write a PD program to do my song-level arranging, triggering seq24 via MIDI (virmidi) instead. 4) I'd be really neat if seq24 was OSC-ified. It's such a nice GUI for loop entering/editing; it'd be great if I could just use it as a front-end to other programs written in PD/ChucK/SuperCollider/etc. - -ken -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFG8Mawe8HF+6xeOIcRAor/AJ9SUJinTuO9zACVY0SYlL38HoTzJgCcCHoZ z+d1l6lnw7qEnSNi6pXyHpw= =dyXN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
