Are we sure its seq24 shooting off midi early and not the click being
delayed?

If you have seq24 send out some midi to a drummachine or something and
record that back in ardour, how are the waves lining up when zoomed way
in ?

seq24 triggering early would look like this:

ardour timeline:     |0   |1   |2   |3   |4   |5
recorded wav beats:  |=3D- X=3D-  X=3D-  X=3D-  X=3D-  X=3D-

it should look like this:

ardour timeline:     |0   |1   |2   |3   |4   |5
recorded wav beats:  |X=3D-  X=3D-  X=3D-  X=3D-  X=3D-  X=3D-
