i can already record multiple loops at a time, so that really is a
non-issue. you can have more than one loop window open at a time, you
know.

the issue for me is not being able to specify a particular midi channel
to listen to instead of listening to every channel.

but it doesn't matter, i use rosegarden4 and re-save the smf0 file as
smf1 and then seq24 can import it with no problems.
