Hello folks, as mentioned earlier, there is another project in my mind which does not involve loop sequencing but rather playing a number of pre-recorded phrases or themes. I meanwhile manage to create MIDI files with my own software, using ascii2midi for the actual file generation. The result is somewhat not musical at the moment. Anyways, when I load one of those MIDI files into seq24, it doesn't sound the same as when I play it using aplaymidi. se24 seems to mix up things. In case Sourceforge allows this, you find a sample file attached. Is there a way to trigger or mute/unmute patterns via MIDI resp. the masterkeyboard? Thanks for your support.
