hello,

i also do real live jamming - for the monophonic overwrite-things, i use
hardware (korg electribe sx). but more and more i do not use that
anymore, because seq24 is much better. take the time, to come into it -
it is worth it...

an to the other questions:

i think recording is always on all midi-tracks, you can just chose the
midi-device. for me that was always working fine... for the output the
midi channel selector works fine...
