seq24 has really matured since the last time I used it, about a year ago. It's working flawlessly for me now; I'm using the deb packaged version for a 64bit Ubuntu Dapper system. One thing I haven't been able to figure out: how do I graphically (or otherwise) modify the duration of a note? In other programs, you can "grab" the tail of the note and drag it to the left or right to change the duration of the note. Alternatively, a right click menu that opens a note properties dialog might help, note duration might be a property to expose there. Also, I'm looking for a shortcut for switching between live and song mode for Jack Sync; something besides opening the Options window. Documentation would be a great help! Has anyone considered starting a WIKI for seq24? I'd be happy to contribute. |
