Without jack transport enabled, you have to start playback with the
button in the song editor and have the looping button enabled for it to
loop.

If you are running with jack transport, then I think the 0.7.0 release
has looping disabled.  But have no fear.  Only a little while until
0.8.0 comes out and looping w/ jack is enabled.
