[seq24-users] new, trouble with libgtkmm-2.4

Hi,

I am new on the list. I intend to use seq24 because it looks
very simple and I hope that it will make what I wish :

record MIDI datas in a Standard Midi File.

I use a laptop with a Debian installed since 2005.12.20.
This Debian comes with libgtkmm-2.4 ; seq24 does not compile
(because it needs libgtkmm-2.2 ?)

In the archive there is a patch libgtkmm-2.4 -> libgtkmm-2.2.
Does it work ?

Or is there another way ?
