[Seer-general] what is the language?

Hi. I installed v1.14 just now.
I see the Language Status (listed at SF.net) is Perl,
but I feel its like a delphi application. Does it mean written in perl?
 or ... 
Does it mean building is a perl-like language?
# Its help says seerscript is a subset of the perl.

Anyway, I am eased to use the seer and I will like it.
# also I found candlesticks are called "Japanese" candlesticks just now.
