    Hi,

We know there is 3 roles for a user: Administrator, User & Guest. So if we have a user with “User” role he doesn’t have any access for upload a document, the “Add Document” section not worked for him when we tried.

And I can’t let him be an Administrator because he should not have access to Setting!

So what can I to do for having users with “User role”, “Add Document” access and no access to setting?
Where of SeedDMS Setting must be changed for giving upload document permission to a “User role” user?

*Let me ask a generally question, is there a documentation or tutorial for explaining how we can use SeedDMS correctly?

Thank you for guiding and helping us

Users can upload documents but the folder where the document is uploaded must be writable by the user. There is currently not documentation.

We are running verion 5,1,25 and have set up appropriate permissions, quotas and upload size, both in seeddms and php.ini correctly. Go to add file and shouws and upload happend but the file is either not uploaded or place somewhere in the seeddms system, we are running debian. Can someone please help.

I'm afraid you are providing not enough information. Any error msg? What do you mean by "place somewhere in the seeddms system"?
