problem with notifications

    I have a problem with notifications
    If the admin adds and deletes a file, they come notifications to users.
    If another user adds a file, then no user receives notification that a new file for approval or review.
    Is the possibility of SeedDMS allow for notification of any changes to the file?
    How to set it to work?

    My SeedDMS is 5.0.7

    Ok, I installed on the hosting of the new version seeddms-quickstart-5.0.7.
    I use the default settings smtp:

    smtpServer="localhost" smtpPort="25" smtpSendFrom="seeddms@localhost" smtpUser="" smtpPassword=""
    

    Send test mail -failed. When I give the other accountsmtp, send test mail -succes.

    I have still the problem described in the first post.

    I actually can not use localhost, because it does not install seeddms on my computer, but on the purchased hosting. I send files fia ftp.

    OK. I want to configure the SMTP server. I use data from the gmail account. I enter SMTP serwer: smtp.gmail.com server, port: 465, add my username and password. If I click on "send_test_mail" then reading info : Sending email failed. I do not understand what's going on. Why it does not work?
