I've been using 1.3.8 for quite a few months without any issues with a default configuration of SELinux. Just installed 1.3.9 and SELinux is not happy. Getting several AVC permission denied issues etc.. on the httpd daemon.
Turn off SELinux or put it in permissive mode and it works fine. Most folks are probably not using SElinux on a base/snort/mysql box but just curious what's changed from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9 that's causing the problem all of the sudden.
Thanks!

What version of httpd?
I haven't had any issues using SELinux with BASE 1.3.9 on one of my test boxes. Do you have a specific error message?
Hello,
you did do something like
chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /var/www/html/base*
and
chcon -R -h -t httpd_sys_content_t /var/www/html/adodb
didn't you? At least for me this was sufficient to run BASE with selinux
in enforcing mode.
Bye, bye
