Why can't we delay subs with a more accurate time ?
For instance, if my subtitle begins with 00:00:28,561
I can change it only into 00:00:xx,x61
0.061 are unchangeable...
Hi,
i've made a major correction on Sears that concern the .sub interpretation.
( available on the next release )
I've made a big mistake, and so actually the algorihm for that is wrong.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
By the way the problem you've defined do not change:
.sub file is based on frame interpretation.
If you considered that a subtitle begin at frame 1114 and the framerate equal 25 fps,
the subtitle appears at the 44,56 seconds ( 1114/25 ) and so the time appears on Sears in the form:
00:00:44,560
If you change time to 00:00:44,572 frame interpretation will be:
44,572*25 so 1114,3 and so 1114.
Reopen file and time will be unchanged: 00:00:44,560 because of .sub limitation.
Regards.
