[Sdldoc-devel] Call for clarification of the terms used

Hi,

I'm currently working on Russian translation of documentation, but stuck in
inability to adequately translate some terms used there. Does anyone could
explain me precise meaning of some terms? For example:

Blit - ? As far as I understand it is a "copy operation from one surface to
another", but there could be other meanings of that.
Colorkey Blit -?
Alpha Blit -?

Please let me know if someone willing to explain these and possibly others
terms.
