when i try to access bit of accumulator register, the compiler gives error(undefined identifier ACC_7), i use mide51, sdcc. pls help.

Then ACC_7 is probably not defined in the header file for your device.

But why would you need to access ACC_7 from C? The accumulator is heavily used by the code generated by the compiler. It is unlikely it will stay unchanged.
