<html><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:12px"></span><span style="font-family:arial; font-size:small">Regarding:<br /><br />"Merge aslink from current upstream asxxxx 5.50 into the sdas fork<br />used by SDCC"<br /><br />from NGI0-Commons-SDCC of SDCC wiki.<br /><br />I think I rebased the sdld to the 5.50.4 aslink from the upstream<br />in #15736<br /><br /><a title="https://sourceforge.net/p/sdcc/code/15736/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.eclipso.at/deref.php?https://sourceforge.net/p/sdcc/code/15736/&u=ODc0NDky">https://sourceforge.net/p/sdcc/code/15736/</a><br /><br />I'm still waiting to see if there are issues on some of the target<br />platforms for which I haven't seen regression tests.<br /><br />I intentionally haven't intended to change the behavior of sdld as<br />there are still much bigger "design" differences than I could<br />guess before I started, i.e. using more code from aslink instead<br />of the sdld code means breaking what's currently functioning in<br />SDCC -- there are clearly various incompatibilities between what's<br />produced from upstream and what's produced and consumed by SD<br />assemblers and linkers.</span><br /> </html> |
