I have lyx 2.4.1 installed, but now latex is not finding the various
figures in svg format, which seems to be an eternal problem. Are you
able to build the documentation locally on your system? Do you know
what is supposed to be converting the figures to a supported format?

It is a problem with the installed boost libraries being flagged as too
old and possibly triggering bug #3772. I will add upgrading the boost
versions here to my to-do list.
