I found that aslink was having trouble looking for the core libraries. I configured the datadir to be ``/usr/local/share/sdcc-2.2.1'' so that it wouldn't install everything in /usr/local/share (which is used by other things as well) and that name confounded addfile. It also confounded fndsym in the same way. The problem is that my path has dots in them, as aslink was taking the presence of those dots to mean that the suffix was not needed. I fixed this problem by having the addfile and fndsym function only look in the file name (and not the whole path) for the '.' so that the complex path doesn't break it. Linking works on my alpha now. -- Steve Williams "The woods are lovely, dark and deep. st...@ic...
