The STM8 interrupt table uses 64 bytes, which is quite a lot. This could be reduced by omitting the 0-filled entries after the last interrupt handler supplied by the user. However, this would affect programs: Currently programs that do not define handlers for interrupts that happen should reliably reset upon the interrupt. With the change, the behaviour would be undefined (as whatever SDCC happens to place in that part of the interrupt table will get executed as code). What's your opinion on this? Philipp |
